The Fifties are back! Whether it's due to nostalgic baby boomers or a younger generation discovering fifties style or kitsch, there's been a surge of interest in all things from the 1950s, especially home furnishings.
Tracking down the elements of the fifties kitchen can involve quite a bit of searching. But I've done that for you. I love all things retro.
My mother-in-law gave me a fabulous set of black & white dishes from the fifties. She's also given me a cake stand from the era. And I own a set of those burlap-insulated mugs and some miscellaneous melamine plates and bowls. (Not a whole set--yet.)
